We genuinely really love flowers at Bloomsday…we work really hard to buy in the freshest, longest lasting flowers, including a lot of different varieties of pretty garden style blooms and wildflowers that you may not see in other shops.  Our flowers are delivered straight from the auctions in Holland, and we source as many local flowers and foliages as we can.  We are very careful and fastidious in conditioning our flowers, as we know it will make them last a lot longer, at least twice as long as supermarket flowers, even longer, probably!  We fuss a lot over our flowers, and really enjoy picking out the colours for our bouquets, and are perfectionists for getting it just right.  If you have a favourite flower or colour you’d like us to include in your bouquet, don’t hesitate to ask!

Our most popular arrangements by far are our hand-tied bouquets, which are arranged and packaged in an aquapack, which keeps the bouquet in water inside the sturdy delivery box.  These bouquets can be unwrapped and placed ready-arranged in a vase, or kept in their packaging indefinitely!  Hand-tied bouquets are ideal for offices, hospitals, nursing homes, or anyplace where space and hygiene are an issue.  The flowers stay fresh until the recipient is able to bring them home, and are easy to transport.

We provide a full service for fresh funeral arrangements, including delivery to the local funeral director or church as appropriate.  If you are not sure of full funeral details, we will endeavour to to find out for your and contact the family or funeral director to make arrangements.  If you’re not sure what to send, we normally recommend a funeral spray for family flowers, which are a  more natural arrangement and allow for special flowers to be incorporated easily, while a ring wreath is a slightly more formal, traditional arrangement which is suitable for a business contact, work colleague, neighbour, etc.  Feel free to contact us if you are unsure about what to send, or drop a note in your order and we will ensure that the most appropriate arrangement is sent.
