We guide you step by step to help you create a perfect arrangement, and you can choose from our large selection of fresh flowers, foliages, and more to match your holiday decor.

Choose a night to suit you, Thursday the 16th or Tuesday the 20th of December at 7.30pm.  €40 per person includes all materials, tuition, and refreshments.

Happy Bloomsday to everyone this June 16th! And happy birthday to us, we’re five years old today!

Bloomsday Flowers opened its doors on this very day in 2006. It was a hot and sunny summer, and the economy was booming…happy memories! It’s been a hard old road these past five years, but we’re still here, and looking forward to many more Bloomsday birthdays.

Thanks to everyone who has been such great support over the years, we couldn’t have done it without you!

Following on the success of our Christmas flower arranging workshop, we’ve planned another evening for Easter!

We had a great time at the workshops, the small groups enabled us to give everyone plenty of personal instruction, and all of the arrangements looked fantastic.  Everyone seemed to have a great time, and there was a really friendly social atmosphere.

For Easter, we’re planning on a really pretty arrangement of spring flowers and foliages, with a natural look.  The workshop is €40 per person, which includes all materials and flowers, and refreshments, too.  No previous experience is necessary, and all ages are invited.

The workshop will be on two nights, Tuesday 19 April and Thursday 21 April, 2011, at 7.30pm. Places are limited as the workshops are taught in small groups…book early to avoid disappointment!

An Afternoon in Amsterdam

Happy New Year, and welcome 2011!  I’m sure we’re all glad to see the back of 2010 with all of it’s hardship, we are delighted to draw a line under it and welcome the new year.  Here is hoping that 2011 brings some positivity and we can finally start growing again!

Great news here at Bloomsday, Noelle and Ross got engaged over the new year!  We thought the day would never come, but Ross finally made good and proposed at midnight on New Year’s Eve while on holiday in Amsterdam.  Congratulations to the happy couple, and let the planning begin!

We have lots of plans for this year in the shop, we are scheduling more workshop evenings after our successful Christmas nights, and are working on filling the shop with a selection of beautiful locally made items by local artists and crafters.  We anticipate a hard year, but as we are all in it together, we may as well get on with it and enjoy ourselves!

Join us for an enjoyable evening of creativity, chat, and nice things to eat…and leave with a beautiful Christmas candle table centre arrangement!

All materials and refreshments are included at the workshops taking place at our shop in Main Street, Carrigtwohill, opposite CostCutter Shopping Centre.  Plenty of parking is available.

Plenty of personal instruction will be provided, with a small group on each night, and Jesse and Noelle both there to demonstrate and give advice.  All skill levels are welcome, whether you’ve never done floristry before or are a dab hand,  we promise you will leave with a gorgeous arrangement!

Tuesday night is nearly full, but we’ve added and additional night on Thursday with places left.  The price is €40 per person, and places can be booked by ringing 021-428-7404.
