Make your own Christmas table centre candle arrangement at our yearly flower arranging night!

We guide you step by step to help you create a perfect arrangement, and you can choose from our large selection of fresh flowers, foliages, and more to match your holiday decor.

Choose a night to suit you, Thursday the 16th or Tuesday the 20th of December at 7.30pm.  €40 per person includes all materials, tuition, and refreshments.

An Afternoon in Amsterdam

Happy New Year, and welcome 2011!  I’m sure we’re all glad to see the back of 2010 with all of it’s hardship, we are delighted to draw a line under it and welcome the new year.  Here is hoping that 2011 brings some positivity and we can finally start growing again!

Great news here at Bloomsday, Noelle and Ross got engaged over the new year!  We thought the day would never come, but Ross finally made good and proposed at midnight on New Year’s Eve while on holiday in Amsterdam.  Congratulations to the happy couple, and let the planning begin!

We have lots of plans for this year in the shop, we are scheduling more workshop evenings after our successful Christmas nights, and are working on filling the shop with a selection of beautiful locally made items by local artists and crafters.  We anticipate a hard year, but as we are all in it together, we may as well get on with it and enjoy ourselves!

We have been busy getting the shop all decorated for Christmas!  The tree is up, and the baubles are hanging from the chandalier, and Claire has made us yards and yards of paper chains to hang from the ceiling…so pretty!  We still have more lights to put up and lots of Christmas goodies to put out, not long now…counting down the days!

All materials and refreshments are included at the workshops taking place at our shop in Main Street, Carrigtwohill, opposite CostCutter Shopping Centre.  Plenty of parking is available.

Plenty of personal instruction will be provided, with a small group on each night, and Jesse and Noelle both there to demonstrate and give advice.  All skill levels are welcome, whether you’ve never done floristry before or are a dab hand,  we promise you will leave with a gorgeous arrangement!

Tuesday night is nearly full, but we’ve added and additional night on Thursday with places left.  The price is €40 per person, and places can be booked by ringing 021-428-7404.
