Ivy – Houseplant of the month

Ivy House plant of the monthOften overlooked, this climbing plant works well indoors as well as outdoors. It’s one of the most air purifying plants and it’s pretty easy to take care of.

Caring for Ivy plants:

  • Although easy to maintain, you need to be careful when watering this plant as the soil needs to be a little dry. Ivy does not like to be in sol that’s too wet.
  • Fertilize your ivy about once a month in the spring, summer and autumn. Do not fertilize in the winter, as this is the ivy’s dormant period and the fertilizer may do more harm than good at this time.
  • Wash their leaves every so often to remove dust and dirt.
